V's Barbershop - Joplin

I really needed a haircut and found V’s Barbershop online. I was super impressed by the appearance and the professionalism of this establishment. James, my barber, was very outgoing and did a wonderful job on my hair. The entire staff is super friendly and welcoming. A really great experience.

I've been going to V's for quite some time now, and I don't know why I've continued to go back. I've had my hair cut by so many barbers here, and only a few have actually done a good job. This last haircut is it, I've never had a haircut this bad in my life. It's horrible, uneven, not what I had asked for, I don't recall the barber even picking up a pair of scissors, just buzzed it off instead of cutting it down to the length I asked for. I most likely won't be back after this. My fault for not speaking my mind at the time and telling them how bad it is.

I go to V's occasionally on the way home from work as a walk-in because it is pretty convenient. I expect to have to wait a bit as a walk-in. That's just part of it. They also have a flag out front that tells you that walk-ins are welcome. The past few times I have stopped there though I have not been welcome. I was told about all the things they couldn't do because I don't have an appointment and that they might not get to me. Today I was told they were booked solid and if I wanted to I could come back tomorrow. The walk-ins welcome sign was up every time but I wasn't welcome. It doesn't seem convenient to me to stop there any more. I can do without the hassle and getting turned away.

I went in today for the very first time. Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I had a very small wait time and ended up getting Willow as my barber. She was super cool and very friendly. She was super nice and made conversation that wasn’t awkward. I felt like I fit right in and I was home. She did a very great job doing a fade and deluxe beard trim. It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be a regular. Also a local small business and I definitely will support them!

I took my 10 yr old daughter to get a short hair cut she has wanted for a long time. I knew of V's reputation but had never been there. They did not disappoint! A very pleasant atmosphere, the barber was sweet and amazing with my kid. She loves her haircut!
