El Vaquero Authentic Mexican Restaurant

I absolutely love this place! We got seated, and the server was at our table within seconds. Once our food was ordered, we didn't wait any longer than about 5-10 minutes if that 4 our food, and it was fresh. The cheese dip is a little runny once they bring it out, but once you let it sit for about 20 minutes, you're good! I love pouring it over my steak, shrimp, and chicken fajitas. The service here tonight was great. Our server was very attentive. The atmosphere is clean, I overall give this place a 5 star, I will be coming back.

Hot sauce was amazing. I'm from Texas so the taste was a lil different, but still good. The beans were phenomenal!!! Great to see a Mexican food restaurant, up North. Lol.

I came 12/09/2023 with my husband, daughter and two of her friends for her birthday lunch. Our server was fantastic and very accommodating. Even after one order was wrong, they fixed it fast and with a great attitude. Definitely now our go to spot for Mexican in Joplin. We had an awesome experience. ????

Good food, huge dining areas, great service, and prompt service are a few of their attributes.

We reserved a room for a Birthday party. We had 18 people that were in attendance. They assigned 1 waiter for us. He was also waiting on tables for the entire restaurant and I saw him in the kitchen on the grill. Waited forever to get our dinner order in and almost nobody get their drinks refilled. We had to go in the back and refill our own drinks or we wouldn't get them filled. The food orders were all messed up. My friend ordered the nachos and when he finally got them he noticed they had carrots on them. One of our friends never even received his dinner order. If you don't have the staff available they should not be booking events that were scheduled in advance. Our waiter was overwhelmed but he tried his hardest. He really needed help.
