I understand where the people say it’s a good place for the prices! The box deal phss can’t beat that and for the variety of food. The deal box is on special time and a few options with a soup, a egg roll or crab Rangoon with a beverage for less than 8$ a combo special. There is two variety of soup the egg drop soup and another one which I did not get the name. The menu is clear spicy and non spicy chicken and meat choices. Non of this food felt fresh to me it felt like a beginner cooker some one that gets can food or frozen choices and dump it with sauce and a little condiments here and there. The egg drop soup tastes and looked like to me like a chicken noodle soup Campbell with egg in it. The combos felt the same swimming in its sauce then actual suppose to be. The rice yes did felt fresh but perhaps the only thing. The service was gentle and helpful but the food I mean…… price great helpful. And yes I know there aren’t many choices of food in Joplin but can do better.

I don’t understand why so many comments are negative. Got this around 19:00 and it was hot, chicken was crunchy and Rangoons were one point. Will always return. ???????? Remember this is fast food not five star dining.

This is my favorite place for Chinese in Joplin! But this was my first time eating inside and getting the lunch box for $6 and I will probably never get it again. I feel I got ripped off. I got a lemon chicken and a general chicken and I was with a couple other people and they got the same thing and yet their plates had probably twice as much more than what mine did! The food was amazing like always but the portion was horrible this time !

Food was awful. Rice tasted like it was old. Threw away the whole plate. Chicken was tough like it wasn't even chicken. Red sauce on sesame chicken, when should have been brown. I will never go there again. Paid almost $9 for combo that came with a plate of stale, dry rice, and cat meat. And a water. Worst food ever.

The sauce for the sesame chicken is not supposed to be sweet and sour sauce.... but that's what they use. The chicken was perfectly fried but then they ruined it with that sauce. Same for the general So's , your supposed to use the same sauce as the sesame chicken but they use gravy... like beef gravy I've never seen this b4. Otherwise it was fine.
