CUSTOMER REVIEWS
The sushi train has lovely decor, and the seats are quite close to each other, although there isn’t much space. Everything is served in bite sized portions and is delicious. Plus, it’s not expensive. The staff were friendly, but they seemed a bit short staffed, resulting in slightly slow service.
Service and staff is alright but not top notch. The place wasn’t that busy when we came around 4pm on Sunday but had to wait for a while to be greeted and seated. Food tastes good but some plates were a bit cold as if they have been on the conveyor for a long time. I really liked their ginger as it tastes fresh and spicy. $3.5 for all sushis including side dishes so good for cheap eats while in the cbd. The kitchen staff didn’t really communicate with the floor staff as when I ordered the karaage chicken, after waited for nearly 10 mins they told us they ran out of it…. So more like a 3.5 stars.
A nice sushi train restaurant located in between the Market City & Darling Square. Friendly staff & quick service, their sushi on the train is all plate $3.5 very good value for budget conscience people and not to worry about eating too expensive color plate. Sushi were made fresh and good quality you can tell. You can order from the small menu too if the sushi train doesn't have the food that you want to eat.
I had previously visited this place at Westfield and was impressed by the wide selection of menu options and the quality of the sushi. However, this particular branch did not meet my expectations in terms of the appearance and quality of the sushi. It appeared to have been made by less experienced chefs. Nevertheless, given the price of only $3.80, I cannot complain too much. Although it was not as good as before, it was still decent sushi. On the other hand, the service was fantastic - the staff were friendly and efficient. We placed our order from the menu rather than the sushi train, and it arrived in under five minutes. So, all in all, it was still a good experience. After all, you can never go wrong with sushi. Follow theSyrianfoodie on IG for more honest food reviews
This new Sushi Rio restaurat is clean and bright. When you sit down, there is already food going around the train. You have the option to pick directly off the train or get the sushi chef behind the counter to make it fresh. I made the chef earn his money in front of me and found that the general quality of food was high despite having a smaller menu than its flagship store on Liverpool St.
