Tokyo Chattanooga

Was hoping for a genuine Japanese experience. I believe it was as close as it could be without being in Japan. The first thing was the lovely Japanese hostess who greeted us. Old Japanese man brought the wife's food out. The food was amazing. You enjoy Japanese food. This is definitely a place to go. So many options.

Nice staff, but the food was bad. Fried rice was mushy. Edamame was cold, avocado roll was brown (photo attached). Plastic water cup was leaking. Other roll was falling apart. Food was incredibly over salted. Sushi rice was undercooked and crunchy. Paid $62 for two people.

This is my new favorite Japanese spot for sure! Great food and service! The Tuna Tartar and the Fried Chicken Bento Box was delicious! I will be back for date night and girls night! Thank you!

Awful service, the guy was nice but the woman, the owner, so disrespectful, we were concerned about the miso soup, we just know the white one, but instead of calmly explain, she chose to start yelling at us, saying she is Japanese and she knows, I tried to explain her our concern but she was just angry and disrespectful. It’s sad to get that horrible service at such a beautiful place… and by the way the soup was super salty.

You call that Tonkotsu!? Dry chunks of pork over maruchen - you might as well make at home. I sent it back, and if my family wasn’t with me for Xmas dinner I’d have picked a fight. I hope this place burns down. Not even a decent egg.
