Blue Orleans Seafood Restaurant - Cajun & Creole Cuisine

This place was amazing!! The waitstaff was super knowledgeable about their gluten free options and took all the precautions. The chef made the bisque from scratch since the one on the menu actually has gluten in it and it was the BEST!! He also made the gator bites with corn meal instead of the regular breading so I would be able to eat it (this was also so so good)! Will definitely go back there again!

The food here was absolutely delicious. We had the shrimp and grits, which were cheesy and smooth, and the Cajun pasta which was tangy and delicious. Food came out fresh, the service was above board, and the server really made me feel like I was eating in a Creole moms kitchen. Everything from the food, to the lighting, to the drinks, and the desserts were top notch. I would recommend this place again and again. (Only got pictures of the desserts because the smells coming out the kitchen had us both starving).

So we went to this place for something different we went at 5pm and there was very very low crowd and sometimes that could be a bad sign. Our sever was super pleasant and we started out with the gator tail apps and crab cake lollipops......... ABSOLUTE FIRE. Authentic new Orleans decadence just the right amount of spice; even my little loved the apps. Our mains were the sharable big easy and it was also AMAZING!!! . The shrimp were massive, the catfish was the best I have ever had, and the gator tail was fantastic. The gumbo..... it just ... it just.... was home! I'm not from New Orleans and I have no Cajun background but the depth of flavors made me feel all warm and cozy and I knew it was made with love. Our server was amazing we never had empty drinks and she was so kind and genuine ??. YOU HAVE GOT TO EAT HERE. ITS A NICE MENTAL TRIP TO THE BIG EASY AND YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Mike and his family are so welcoming. The place is beautiful and the food exceeded all our expectations! We had the alligator tails and their Parmesan garlic wings for our appetizers and I had the red beans and rice while my husband got the shrimp d’orleans pasta meal. Everything was so delicious. I would absolutely encourage anyone looking for a great environment with great food to visit here. Thanks Mike and family, we will definitely be back soon!!!

My wife and I went there last night. I work a few blocks from there and have been meaning to give it a try. My wife ordered a grilled chicken salad with water and I ordered the Nawlins Pasta with a coke. My wife's chicken had several bites that were just gristle. My pasta was pretty good. The problems with our experience were: 1) Did not see sweat tea on the menu 2) No fountain drinks, bottled cokes only 3) A little expensive for what we got. Our bill was $43.70 4) Portions were medium at best. Positives were: 1) The place looks amazing 2) Staff was friendly All in all, we will not be going back. It is a restaurant so we were there for the food not ambiance.
