Riverside Catfish House

This is a Mom and Pop restaurant. Know for fresh catfish. Only open on the weekends. This is a hidden local gem. Over looking the Tennessee River. It is a wonderful inexpensive place to enjoy family and friends. Food is great. If you would like an ale or other refreshing beverage it is offered. Over all great family restaurant.

First time visiting here, it was very nice experience, beautiful location and so homie, the service was excellent and the food was a top 10. Wish it was prettier to have enjoyed the views outside but we will definitely be back again to do so.

We drove almost 40 minutes to eat at our favorite catfish place, a rare treat for us. We arrived at 7pm with the website showing open until 8:30pm. We were the only car there. Apparently they are remodeling. Nothing was listed about being closed for remodeling on either the website nor even on the outside of the building or the sign either. The food and catfish used to be superb here. We're disappointed that we drove so far for nothing. Additionally, we may have missed other options due to the time lost. When you love the patrons who love you, you give them a heads-up to let them know that you're not open. I don't know how long they've been closed nor how long they will remain closed. I do know the food, when they were open, was superb with decent prices and with friendly service. I hope it reopens under the same ownership with the same quality.

Crispy Catfish...can't beat it. Beautiful scenery, friendly service and delicious food. Loved it! Very thankful for friends that introduced us to it.

I love thos place. All you can eat catfish with fries and slaw. Yum. Buttermilk pie and coconut pie are really good. Yummy!
