Where my daughter's friend wanted to go for her birthday dinner--they'd been there before and liked the food. Sign outside pointed the way to the entrance, but the restaurant portion had no food. I don't know if it's closed down for good or just for the day--they gave us no explanation even though I said we drove all the way over there just for that. Update--reply to owner's response: We did go inside, all the way, walked up to where the tables were, and it quickly became apparent that it wasn't open for business. We did buy three TY toys off the carousel in there, though. When checking out I had said that we came just for the restaurant, but there was no explanation about it, so we just went on our way to find another place to eat.
The food was GREAT. It's a small buffet in a nook of a gas station. It is very self-serve and there is water available. But you won't be waited on. If you're ok with that, definitely hit this place up. It was delicious. The naan was outstanding. We randomly stopped here because it was pretty rural and we were curious.
The people are nice enough but I wouldn't be able to make myself buy food made in-house from here. After seeing the bathroom, I would be too afraid to see what the cooking area looked like. I say skip the Indian store and go to Love's a few miles down the road if you're headed east on I40.
So I stopped to get gas and when I went in the gas station the food smelled good. I decided to order curry chicken and garlic naan and chicken samosas. I waited about 15-20 minutes to get my order. I sat in the truck and began to eat my chicken and after a few bites I saw something black in the bowl. I thought is was a seasoning of some sort, but after I picked it out, I saw it was a dead fly and it immediately made me disgusted ???? the few bites of the naan were good and it was served hot. I’m scared to eat anything else and literally just wasted $25
y'all, just eat here. the food was incredible. it's a truck stop, the atmosphere isn't the point, the point is to eat delicious, authentic Indian food, and if that's what you're looking for, look no further. I lived in Portland, OR for 13 years and never had Indian this good. will be driving an hour+ out from Tulsa just to eat here. thank you tandoori indian restaurant!!!
