Taco Hangover Shawnee

We dined in on a weekday for dinner. The food was good and so was the service. The chips and salsa did for me but after that Frozen Margatita and birria tacos landed in front of me. I was pretty impressed, especially being Hispanic and trying so many authentic restaurants throughout.

We ordered online for pick up. No issues. A little pricey but it is what it is. One of our side of beans was missing. Again, it is what it is. I have been waiting to try Quesabirria and either it's disgusting all together or it's just theirs, but that was an epic fail. The elota was more of a dip then something you eat as a side (what I use to) honestly the best tasting item was the salsa, and I wouldn't return just for Salsa. It was worth a try but I won't be back.

Fabulous taco and burrito spot off of Shawnee Mission parkway. We stopped in because we kept driving by and are happy we did. Menu has a great variety, and even has meatless chorizo for vegetarians. Burritos are huge and enough for more than one meal! They have a bar so you can drink with your food which is a fabulous bonus. I also witnessed the employees cleaning and wiping things down constantly which I really appreciated - you could tell they really took pride in their business. This is definitely a must try!

Very simple restaurant without much flare. Service was ok. Food was mixed. Free chips and salsa which the salsa was good. The Cali Burrito was good but the steak itself was a little under seasoned but the sides were very bland (refried beans and Mexican rice). The loaded fries were very good. Smother food with queso and it usually is good. The virgin strawberry daquiri was also really good.

Highly recommend???????? I was skeptical looking from the outside & WOW! The queso and the SHRIMP ???? ???? and everything was delicious, nicely seasoned. Small little place packing some awesome flavors. Oh & a beer ???? served by awesomeness staff who clearly understands customer care and teamwork. Very impressed ????
