Without any hesitation this has to be hands down the best authentic Mexican restaurant around this area which is family owned. Absolutely delicious food serve here walking distance from Love’s Travel Center so if you’re a Truck driver yourself and spending time park just take a 3, minute walk to this gem of restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Everything in their menu is top notch, made fresh by Chef Bryan so don’t second guess yourself and treat yourself to the best authentic Mexican food you will enjoy,.

Stopped for my 34 at Love's nearby. Nelly's is a place totally worth getting your dog-tired butt out of that sleeper. Have a short walk and enjoy the genuine mexican cuisine spiced with friendly service and relaxing atmosphere.

I never would have expected Mexican food that was so authentic in St. Joseph, MO! Being born and raised in Southern California, I tend to have high standards for Mexican food. The food was amazing! The owners were welcoming and very polite. It was a great meal, great atmosphere and a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a great lunch

Had a big lunch. Was it bad? No. But the ground beef they serve there has an unusual flavor to which Americans might not be accustomed. Maybe it's super authentico, but not what Americans think of when we order ground beef burrito or enchilada. Overall, not bad, but not great, either.

Food was so good! Got fajitas and my husband go enchiladas, to-go. Called it in and only had to wait 10 minutes to pick it up. Will eat here again next time we're in town!
