First and LAST TIME. The work was terrible. The worker cut my finger and the manager refused me a refund unless i got a soak off WOTH THE CUT. I called the police myself and they proceeded to lie and tell the officers they were not paid and were rude as hell. She literally laughed in our faces and had us pay her $40 more AFTER GIVING MY REFUND lol. I will be taking them to court. Look at the images attached. Smh. Did I say they didnt even give me a receipt from jump? HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
My nails feel off so easily I literally scratched my head 2 days ago ( I got them done 2/26 ) & a nail was on the floor. I was just going to glue it back in until I was putting on my Coat and another one suddenly fell . I will be back today I paid 80$ for a short French tip this is absolutely unacceptable . DONT COME HERE theses dont stay on literally not even for 2 days. I also paid for my eyebrows to get cleaned up & they are thin as a charging cord aswell as an arch.
DO NOT GO HERE!! Decided to go here for a pick to white ombre acrylic fill-in because the nail salon I normally go to had a wait. Bad decision. List of everything wrong: • There are no other clients there. That should have been my first red flag. • Barely have any color option for acrylic •Nail tech painted over my skin, the tried to "fix" by filing my cuticles and cutting me multiple times in the process •Nails were filed and painted terribly •Nail tech rude when I didn't tip for horrible service. Overall terrible and ameatur service. I ended up returning to the first nail shop to get them removed immediately after. I seriously think this shop should be investigated for health and practice violations
This business is the epitome of foreign business owners who extract money from largely an African American customer base and offer poor service in exchange. This business would not survive if it was more on the interior of Oak Park; there are better options, and they would be run out. This establishment knows they are subpar. But it's customer who keep showing up who keep them in business. This is not my home nail shop. Stopped in randomly while out west because I wanted a quick mani/pedi in between errands. There was only one tech, and their "systems were down" so they were only taking cash. There was some other guy, a older 60+ Asian man who spoke no English - who was offered up to me to do my servicing. I was suspicious, but really only had this window of opportunity to get it done. While it wouldn't be the quality of what I'm used to at my primary spot out South (my typical price point for mani/pedi is $70-90) I would have been fine with decent. The man basically cut and filed my toe nails as one does at home. That's it. No cuticle trim. I skipped the mani, paid, and left. On exit I told the other tech who spoke English that this guy is not a nail tech, and that I know that she knows that. She apologized, but I said plainly to her that I don't believe she is sorry. How could she be? She was in on the con. They took my money and made no effort to make it right. Fool me once. This business lies and cheats it customers, and will die a slow death. Anyone who goes here on the regular is either looking for bargain pricing, doesn't know what "good" looks like, or enjoys shopping at Walmart.
Now the woman that did my pedicure did take her time and do a awesome job. The unprofessionalism of her coworkers is what will have me never go back... standing around pointing , laughing and looking at my feet. They didn't try to hide anything .. thought I even saw one take a photo that's why I have no problem giving them a one star... would give them none if I could.????????
