Modern Nails

I would give a negative review if I could. I went in for a no-chip polish change, they didn’t ask me to view colors, I was seated & I had to remind them of that & I still was not shown colors. I asked for common colors, funny bunny & bubble bath, they didn’t have them but they substituted for colors that were similar. I had to remind the tech of a shape & length as well. The color came out uneven with air bubbles. They were rushing because they didn’t let my nails sit under the UV light with correct time. My tech was Cindy. Never coming back, they played w my nails & took my money smh. I could have done better than them.

This was the first time that I walked in and they only had one customer. I was asked what I needed and I said a fill in. So no one was eager to assist me in this process because I guess I wasn’t spending enough money. There are two ladies that I had been going to and I asked the both of them were they working still. Their answers were very vague and then they pointed at the guy who clearly didn’t know how to do nails! I was disappointed because I have tipped the ladies very well and this was the 1st time I received horrible service from them. The guy took way over a hour to do a simple fill in and it took forever. I don’t think I will ever go back there again. Cindy said hey to me when I was paying for the service and I expressed to her that this was a horrible experience and she just smiled and I paid and left. They need to re train him on how to do nails! He shouldn’t be working in there at all it looks really bad

I’m probably the most particular person when it comes to my nails - in a nice way but I’m just detailed. Nina and the team here do an awesome job. The decor and place doesn’t look fancy but they do some great nails. I won’t go anywhere else in Oak Park cause all the other ones suck.

Very unacceptable & disappointing experience - wont go back!!! I was cut four times & bled so my fingers are sore and they hurt. All I got was a 'sorry'. Unhygienic to cut me, bleed, and still use the same tools without cleaning them or the area itself. I was so mad I just wanted to get out as soon as possible but will not be returning

I was very hesitant to get gel manicure done but my first experience went really well. These people were nice and welcoming. I went without appointment and got done in less than an hour. Jennifer worked on my nails. She was cooperative in color selection and gave a nice hand massage too. This one was 39$. Cheaper than couple of places i checked at. Will be going back.
