I have naturally long nails so I get a no chip manicure. I explained that I wanted to keep my length with a square finish. My nails got chopped off- left side nails are square with some length. Right side is short beyond my desire and rounded. I know nails grow back but for almost $100 I am completely disappointed and hate the finished look.

After a stressful month of moving and starting a new job, my sister and I decided to take some time to pamper ourselves at J&W Nails in Oak Park. This establishment offered a very relaxing and fun environment. I'm new to this type of treatment, so I had no idea what to expect or even how the process worked. The technician was gracious and guided me through the experience. Even though I was fumbling about, she made it fun, which kept me relaxed. I only got the pedicure with a clear coat. While my sister did both pedicure and manicure. She did a good job of filing my nails and marking them shine. The massage and scrub were excellent bonuses. I would definitely come back with my GF for a second go-around.

I've been going to this nail shop for over two years but after today I would not recommend. I was told that they are under new management and it shows. The lady who did my dip-manicure seemed lost even when taking payment from individuals. She wasn't sure of what product to use and less than 12 hours later my nail has broken and the polish chipped on several nails. I am so disappointed and will not even return for them to fix it. I'd rather go to a shop closer to my house.

I really like the owners. They’re super nice and can be chatty if you want to talk. They give a great pedi and waxing
