Food located near airport. Catfish was tasty, oysters okay, coleslaw always open to new flavors had raisins in it. Tartar sauce was really good (homemade?). I thought oysters would have tasted better if right out of the fryer. Cashier a little absent. I had to remind her of condiments, dessert ordered and ice, although paid in advance. Looking at my ticket when filling bag may have helped her. Not a fancy place..you could miss if wasn't for large logo on front.

Having grown up in the south this is exactly what reminds me of my grandmas home cooking. The restaurant looks like a hole in the wall joint leaving the airport. I saw it and had to try. I was not disappointed at all! The food is excellent! Everything tastes like it was made to order. I didn’t ask but I’m pretty sure it was. This is legit home cooking southern food. The staff was super friendly and the price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend if in the area.

3 rd day in a row! There food I can’t not get enough of!!! The seafood platter is huge! I could not eat it all and I’m a big guy. blacked bayou Étouffée, the shrimp is to die for!!! Recommend this place to everyone! Louie has great customer services! The owner truly cares about his reputation!!

You have to order your food at the counter and they bring it out to you. The atmosphere is a little old and it is attached to a motel. The bigger dining area didn't have the cool AC like the other side. The food came out quickly and was hot. I got the beef tips, yams, greens, and cornbread. The beef tips with gravy were extremely good. Good flavor and the rice was cooked perfectly. The greens were 8 out of 10 as well. They could have used just a little more vinegar taste. The yams were perfect all the way through. The cornbread could be more sweet. Everything was really good. Down home flavor.

Don't let the look or area deceive you. This is the source of some very fine, genuine southern cooking. Fish was delicious, as was the coleslaw and ettoufee. Service was excellent. Plenty for the money and very good. They seemed to do a booming take-out business.
