Ichiban sushi grill shreveport

Thanks for always making my lunch with care!! Always flavorful and just how I love it! They have the best staff here too, they are very helpful when your not ur what you want and well educated on what they have to offer on their menu. I recommend making it in time for the lunch special!! It's more than enough food per serving and very tasty!!!

I got the sushi lunch special which cost around 13 dollars. I put down $10 and my card, because I was paying with both. My waiter took my 10 as a tip and charged me the full cost of the meal on my card plus the tip I added from my card. Ask next time. Why would I give a $10 tip on a 13 dollar bill? Very disappointed. ????

Ichiban Sushi Grill has become our go to sushi place since moving to Shreveport. It’s not the best ever but it’s pretty good for the area. We’ve only take out so I cannot speak for their service in the restaurant. We’ve tried multiple sushi rolls and lunch bento special. So far we haven’t had anything we didn’t like from them though!

It's been years since I have been. We had three various roles and a bento dinner box. Sushi was pretty good as was the service. Casual atmosphere. They could use some (minute) renovations/repairs and a good cleaning.

I’ve given this place its last chance. Years of inconsistency, subpar, frozen, chewy fish, on top of the prices are just too much. The only thing they’ve ever had going for them is their waitstaff who are always wonderful to interact with. I ordered a sushi and roll combo with two additional rolls this time. The “sushi” was far too large for the amount of poorly formed, unsticky “sticky” rice. It was slimy, chewy, and once again, clearly not fresh fish. I’m out. For what it’s worth, the rolls were decent, but the rice fell apart as soon as s it touched soy sauce. Edit: 2/13/2023: The owner just replied stating this is not one of their plates, I’m guessing to disprove that this is their terrible food. I suppose it’s possible he doesn’t realize that his restaurant offers delivery. And I live in the same neighborhood as the restaurant so it’s not as though it took a long time from to travel here.
