Jack's Bar-B-Q

Super friendly, welcoming and efficient folks. Brisket and ribs are so good, moist, juicy and hot, extremely flavorful.

I had the two meat plate with potato salad and bbq beans. The sausage was good with the extra sauce, but the brisket was dry. Others had the chicken, which was seasoned well and tender. One's hamburger was burnt a bit, but they liked their fries. The potato salad was not overly dressed but the coleslaw was and too sweet. The chopped sandwich has mixed reviews. Husband and I say it tastes like Sloppy Joe - and I'll add, today's at least tasted old. Daughter says she loves it. I would go back with her to have a sausage sandwich.

This barbecue was so good. Had a 2meat plate which also came with 2 sides. The brisket was very tender and the sausage had a ton of delicious Smokey flavor. The vibe was a fun hole in the wall and the servers were so kind.

The atmosphere kind be improved but the people were very friendly. I'm from Mississippi and we come over to Shreveport Louisiana to see our Grandson play football and they mention the Barbeque and we had it 10/20 and we taking some home

Wow! I have wanted to try out Jack's for years, but I was rarely on this side of town. I'm now working in the area and I should not have waited soooo long! Now, I only had the turkey sandwich (deli sliced style), but it was so good. You can taste the smoked flavors coming through. I also had a side of fries that were the thick cut and crispy. Oh, the price can't be beat. Under $10 for it all. Can't wait to go back!
