The octopus tasted old and dry, the bacon wrapped shrimp were better but not tasty enough, la campechana was very simple and no flavor at all . The best thing was the empanadas and the langostinos

I've always enjoyed the food at Las Islitas. It's good food. What lowered the rating on my review was the service. Yes, we had a huge party. But the reservations were made in advance. Management could have assigned more than one waiter/waitress, reducing the stress on our waitress. She did look quite unhappy. It was an eye opening reflection of their organization. Regardless, I enjoyed myself for the occasion.

After navigating the insane parking lot I had a great meal and great service, great people & great music the Mariachis were turned out well. I had the fish "chicharon" (which was basically just fried tilapia ) as appetizer and I wanted to try the culichis so I did, they are extremely fresh and also I was impressed by the rice and beans that came with it I'm not a huge rice fan but these were really good. Even though it was kind of crazy to order all this food I had the gobernador taco. I managed to eat it all. I really wanted to try the campechana but I didn't want to drive back to Los Angeles slopping around a bunch of seafood so that just means I'll have to go there for that ... and the green ceviche... and a number of other things that I saw on the menu that looked really good. The server's name was Angelica and I want to give a shout out to her for being helpful in trying out the Nayarit specials. The fried tilapia was pretty basic but the spicy green sauce really helped to perk it up. I probably wouldn't order that again. Also , nothing to do with a restaurant per se, but: I had the strange experience of watching an 8-year-old child drink mayonnaise right from the squeeze bottle without the four adults around him doing anything about it. Even if it weren't a Time of pandemic this made my mind real to think that all of the squeeze bottle condiments I've ever used in my lifetime and my stomach turned. But it didn't keep me from eating the good food.

Love the food here, it's so delicious! Ceviche de Camarones y Pulpo tastes amazing! Waiters are super friendly! Highly recommended eating here!

They are doing their best with outdoor dining, but service is really slow and flies everywhere. Told the manager 3x to get me the tab because waitress was busy, he kept forgetting. Finally after like 15 minutes I told waitress that I had been waiting for tab and she went to get it. Food was decent drinks were better lol.
