Clean and simple. Went here on a whim one Sunday and it was nice. A few swings and an adequate playground. Lots of open space to look out at the water and lots of covered picnic tables. The public bathrooms were relatively clean, but not very stroller friendly and could use an update. Not a stroller friendly park in general.
Lincoln Park is a fairly large park that features numerous pavilions (some with lights), a fishing/boat dock, a boat ramp, two tot lots and a small beach area. There is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk. The park is well maintained and the trees offer plenty of shade. The parking areas are arranged to offer easy access to handicapped persons. The location is well away from any busy roads so this is a nice place to visit if you are in the mood to enjoy some quiet time.
Great place for kids to play at the playground or in the water! Has outdoor shower to wash sand off, and public bathroom stalls. About 5 covered pavilions for picnics and some have grills for a cookout. Nice green grass and openess! Beautiful water to view!
2023 update: February/March So exciting for kiddos to see few dolphins playing recently. 2021/22 This waterfront park is a little hidden gem in the neighborhood. 4 pavilions, 2 boardwalks, fishing and various sitting areas. Clean bathroom with simple cleanup shower. Nice playground structure and shallow water areas. Excellent place to have a relaxing day here.
Quiet shady spots to be found for lunch...view across the water is peaceful with an occasional boat sailing by. Keep an eye on the signs for water quality signs for alerts/warnings. Nice place to relax and recharge. Bathrooms with handicapped access available. Showers outside for rinsing off.
