Let me start off by saying I'm giving 2 stars because the tire was cheap and service was quick. Otherwise, I would be giving 1. These people are RUDE. It started when I called asking if they had any used tires in my size, and the lady on the phone was audibly annoyed that I inquired - but I didn't take it personally. She said they had one. I arrive and park NEAR (not in front of) the big garage door and exit my car as I see a woman who appears to work there walking in the parking lot and she starts to approach me. She says, before saying hello how can we help you or anything, "What makes people park there right in the middle of the lot just wondering?" Then, before I can respond to explain myself, she laughs and says "Hahaha I was just trying to be rude." Mind you, there were ZERO other cars around, I was not impeding any flow of traffic, and my car was still running as I was just trying to read the signs/figure out where to go. But you were trying to be rude. Noted.???????? I now realize she must be the same rude woman from the phone. So then, I move my car to a parking spot for about a minute before they tell me to pull in, because it was really that serious right? Anyways, I mention to the mechanic that I want to purchase a used tire and have him mount it on one of my rims. And I would also like them to put on a used tire I own that is already on full size rim. I open the trunk to retrieve the tire and hold up the tire hatch door for him. This man proceeds to then carlessly toss all of my belongings over his side on to the ground to get to my tire- my jumper cables, my tire pump, some other tools. He dropped it from car height without even looking where it was going. Normally I wouldn't think it's that serious but the tire pump is an electrical box - not a piece of metal, and that just didn't seem appropriate for someone else's belongings but I let it go as nothing was damaged. Then I tell him that I do not want to keep the bald tire that is currently on the rim he is swapping out and asked if he can remove it because it is garbage (the tread lines are showing). He then mumbles something about how he's only swapping it out for the tire and rim combo I own and that it's a like for like swap basically. I tried to tell him that I don't care if it's extra for him to take it off and dispose I was willing to pay, I just did not want the bald tire but he started walking away from me. So I proceed to the waiting room where I sit for about 10 minutes. I pay 35 dollars and am on my way. When I get home I open my trunk to find that he threw the bald tire, still on the rim, ON TOP of all of my reusable bags, travel items, a PILLOW (that is now filthy and garbage) and everything else in my trunk. This also caused the tire hatch cover to sink down past the plastic housing shelf that it sits on and get stuck. I had to force it back out, and this warped the plastic housing. It's not broken, but it's weakend and lightened in color, like when plastic gets bent (see pic). I should have taken a picture of the tire on top but I was in a hurry to move things around and didn't think of it at the time so that is definitely my own fault. TLDR: Purchased and had mounted one cheap, used decent used tire. Had one used tire-rim combo I own put on the car. Paid 35 dollars. Quick service. Extremely rude receptionist and careless mechanic who lacks respect for customer's property and requests. Will not return.

Let me preface this by saying there are very few reliable and honest repair/service shops out there...and "mechanics" who actually give a rat's behind about your car. Your lifeblood. I know. This facility is not out to screw you, they do good work at reasonable pricing. Do yourself a favor and patronize Al's tire. They don't have to have video cameras on their mechanics like a certain one on Central avenue in Portage, IN. You know who you are. Trust me. I do. You'll never get repair service from me again! GFYs.
