CUSTOMER REVIEWS
I love me a low-key, no-frills place to eat. This spot has it. It took me a moment to figure out where to go in. They were packed. I knew why though. The buffet had so much incredible food I walked away with a first plate over flowing because I couldn’t decide on what I wanted. If you’re a Filipino food expert, you may have some major opinions. This southern white girl just knows that everything smelled and tasted good. I don’t remember the last time I had Filipino dishes to even compare. I’ll be back.
I've been here twice now and I'm very disappointed in my experiences. The buffet has great food but weird hours, so if you're a working adult that doesn't live within a few minutes drive of the restaurant you will most likely never be able to eat there. Although the food I've had was good, my main issue is with the customer service. The staff is not welcoming when you first walk in- just a very cold and unfriendly environment. Customers should know the buffet is closed *by* 2, not that they stop serving food at 2. So everybody eating is asked to finish up around 1:30. Crazy, because that's normal lunch hours for many.
We travelled from SC to pick up my daughter and didn’t have time for a dine in. We stop by for a to go plate. The food selection was limited and it was a few minutes before closing. But the staff are very accommodating and nice people. They’re all smile and thank us for stopping by. My daughter really love this place that’s why we had to try. Wish we had time to go there the next day but we left home early. The binignit that we had tasted great, but definitely can improve by adding vanilla. Other than that everything was good. Food that reminds me of us of home. My pictures aren’t that great to showcase their food. But this was taken during the few visits my daughter made with her friends. The place is all you can eat Filipino food.
Came to visit my aunt and she told me about getting lunch and a few Filipino sweet breads from here. The lady at the cashier was very helpful and pleasant. They serve a buffet lunch from 11 am to 2 pm according to other reviews. We got there before 11 and the place was full. We didn’t stay but got a to go box(about $13.00/box based on my receipt ). The selections were great from pork /chicken bbq, various pancit, vegetable lumpia, lumpia shanghai, mungo with ampalaya leaves(this was what we came for and they provided a styrofoam cup for it which was very convenient), Filipino fried chicken, and kare-kare(that could use more peanut sauce though the veggies were done well) and much more if you look at the pictures included on this post. I would like to stay and dine in next time.
The restaurant was already jam packed when we got there at 11:15am considering it opens at 11a. There were numerous dishes but they somehow ended up tasting the same. Don't know how they can cook chicken in 5 different ways. The atmosphere was plain n si.pke like I was in a fast food cafeteria. For lunch, it was a little pricey, doubt that I will go back.
