We’ve been traveling and needed to stop for lunch. I found Weiss Deli and I’m so glad we stopped! Everything we tried was fantastic. We ate outside in the sunshine and went back in for more dessert! We tried the French dip, pastrami on rye, turkey on challah, and a cheesesteak. The fries were hot and crisp, the potato salad was on point, and we love trying the house made pickles and pickled green tomatoes. We also shared some rice pudding and a cheesecake before going back for the raspberry cheese danish and a brownie. ?????? They were really busy, but everyone was kind and the wait wasn’t bad. There were a lot of call ahead & DoorDash orders and the dining room was full. That’s how you know you’re in the right place. The bread was fresh and delicious and the meats were piled on! The desserts were great—the flavors were well balanced and not too sweet. We’re taking a challah bread pudding home for later too! Definitely stop! When we make it back, I want to try the Latkes and most likely the bagels!
A good spot to get classic NY style sandwiches, bagels, and more. Service was a bit rushed but the place was packed, and we got our food quickly so can’t complain. I ordered the Hollywood Club sandwich. The portions were huge, but the sandwich was pretty difficult to eat as all of the contents of the sandwich would push out when you bit it.
Yep, legit. Soup portions are massive! A cup is really a large bowl. A bowl is really a 5 gallon bucket. The matzo ball is huge as well. See the photos for yourself. Excellent customer service, no wait at lunchtime on a Friday, but YMMV.
Cramped spacing inside, needs more room. Tall walls divide the dining area. In the Vegas Valley kitschy is cool, but i didn't feel anything from the interior decorating. Service was mediocre, had to ask for drink refill as several employees walked by. The Salmon cream cheese needs smaller salmon cuts to spread the taste throughout the bagel. Big chunks only give you occasional flavoring. However, the bagel was "top shelf", true delicatessen flavor and texture. Crisp on the outside after toasting and slightly chewy on the inside. 5 Stars for the Onion bagel.
Cute deli in a strip mall that looks unassuming from the outside. Fresh sandwiches heaping with meat and cheese. I had a turkey melt open face sandwich on rye with coleslaw. Really tasty French dressing, piles of melty provolone and tomatoes and onions. The pickled green tomato on the side was new for me. All around yummy! There was a statue outside by some tables.
