If you like good, fried food, this is the place. The Cajun Catfish was especially good, but the fried shrimp are a close second. We ate here while charging our car at the EA station in the Walmart parking lot and service was fast enough for us to get the charge we needed without hitting 100%. Good deal!
It was a very chill Sunday at the restaurant. Our server Sharon was nice and pleasant. The I ordered the Sunday special which was the 4 small flounder with a baked potato and Cole slaw. The fish was good and fried perfectly, the Cole could've used a bit more juices and sugar and the baked potato was a baked potato.
Went here for lunch during a road trip. Used to be a trucker and had eaten at a Mayflower some years ago and remembered it being pretty good. It still is. You don’t get quite as much food for your dollar anymore but that’s true everywhere, and you’ll still leave here full. The fried catfish platter was pretty good. The potato was a good size and the hush puppies are absolutely divine. The coleslaw was not good at all though. Sweet tea was decent as well. The server was pretty attentive and the food came out pretty quick, so not many complaints at all.
A extremely good atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely helpful and very attentive. The food was very fresh and delicious.
The food is not bad and there is a great deal on the plate but it needs more flavor. We had fried alaskan whitefish and tilapia, shrimp and fried clams. The breading beeds more flavor. It is very bland. We didn't try the Cajun flavor that may have better flavor. Hushpuppies are good. Baked potatoe and corn amd freenbeans good. Coleslaw a little dry but tasty. Service was good staff friendly and helpful.
