El Torito Cafe

This place is absolutely amazing!! The service is spectacular, and inside is both homey and quiet. I highly recommend getting the #11 Fajita combo; I got mine with a mix of chicken and shrimp. The shrimp were huge and the chicken was nice and juicy! The combos come with a side of rice and beans, and those on their own were also do delicious. I also recommend the mango margarita- it was also delicious. Everyone was so nice and clearly enjoyed working here. My family and I will definitely be back!!!

This place felt like home. So welcoming and comfortable, I can absolutely see why they have been here since 1975. I highly recommended this hidden gem on the far side of Henderson. A great value and a good price. I left feeling satisfied, and can't wait to try the rest of their menu. It was a family members birthday, they made us feel so special. Not many places will do such a kind gesture anymore, it was so sweet. Thank you El Torito ??

Looks like a hole in the wall? In an old part of Hendo? Doesn't matter! This is a great little spot and SUPER popular during peak times. Service is great and it seems like a family (pretty sure it is) running the place. Is the food the best of the best of the best? No but it's solid and I would go back in a heartbeat if in the area again.

We arrived at dark. The parking lot is dark, unpaved, and unlit. One of the doors on the double door entry was boarded up with plywood. Not very welcoming. There was a birthday party going in and lots of guests. We sat at a booth that was filthy as far as the upholstery . The table needed wiping. The booth dining area needs replacing or re-upholstery. The tables looked okay. Chips and salsas were pretty good as was the enchiladas I ordered. They had an A rating so hopefully the kitchen was cleaner than the dining area. We drive by the place often and it seems that they have a decent following but time to take some profits and put it back into your business.

The El Torito is a fantastic example of a long lasting, decades old, family friendly Henderson staple!! The appearance and decor are pretty straightforward and simple. But don’t let that fool you, these guys are serving up some of the best Mexican food in the Vegas Valley. Staff is friendly, attentive, and know all of the locals that come in frequently. The food quality is exceptionally good and not too salty! The tacos are well-made, the rice is fluffy and flavorful, and the chips and salsa are a “10” every time! If you are in the Henderson area, it would be who you to stop by El Torito and enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine!
