We went in and just as we sat, the lady working there immediately showed up saying excuse me! You can't sit without ordering. Absolutely horrible treatment and we were shocked. It killed the vibe. We went onto order some coke anyway. The glass was disgusting as it had lipstick marks on it, raising questions about the cleanliness of this place. The staff was super unfriendly and too busy chatting with someone. Never visiting again even though it's closer to my house. ????

Friendly atmosphere in this local pub. It was very quiet when we called in early on a Sunday evening. Close to a number of restaurants and other bars on Brynymor Road and St Helens Road . Good range of draft beers and ciders at reasonable prices. Small seating area outside, with large single room bar inside.

We had a great family meal here today with our toddler. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I asked for some cucumber with my daughter's meal, which I was happy to pay for, but they added it at no extra charge. Was also pleasantly surprised that meals for under fives are free with an adult meal. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Glad to see the pub open and busy again, and with such a warm atmosphere.

Limited choice of beers/ales. Was having a pleasant enough time until I was verbally abused by a group of drunk patrons who were being table served by a staff member . The staff member smiled as if it were somehow acceptable. It was not. Disappointing.

We were a group of 9 persons here for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. I ordered the classic fish ‘n’ chips and they were probably one of the better (if not best) ones I’ve had by a far margin. The fish was fresh, succulent and moist, encrusted with a light beer batter. My friend had the buttermilk chicken burger which was a tad dry and perhaps a bit overfries. Overall it is a lovely, chill place to grab a bite and a couple of pints.
