The Swigg

Dropped in for a coffee with my husky in town. Lovely coffee, and truly charming staff. Moments after our arrival the husky covered all the staff in fur, as she accepted the fuss she deserves, for which I apologise, but no one turned a hair. If you know what I mean. Anyway, a great place for dogs and coffee.

Great venue that attracts a crowd of all ages. They regularly have live music and it was a great atmosphere yesterday. Large outdoor area is fun & lively. Good choice of drinks. Large indoor bar and an outside bar that sells bottles and cans. Three bottles or cans for £12 is reasonably good value too. The only reason not to give 5 stars are the toilets. When busy it's a complete bottleneck and can easily take 10mins to queue as they are down a narrow corridor which quickly fills and means people can't get in or out. Solve that and they have a 5 star venue.

I had booked a table and was very late in arriving(circumstances out of our hands) but all at the Swigg were extremely helpful, accommodating and understanding. They even moved people from our booked table even though we were late!! A fab experience and atmosphere, food was lovely and very filling. A fab place x Diolch xx

? 5-Star Christmas Party Experience at The Swigg! ? I just want to give a massive shout-out to The Swigg for hosting one of the best Christmas parties we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was absolutely spot on. The atmosphere was warm and buzzing, the staff were friendly and on the ball, the band Monkey Butlers had everyone up and smiling, and the food was genuinely top-tier. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers quality, great vibes, and a fantastic night out, I highly recommend The Swigg. They made our night unforgettable. Had such a great time at The Swigg! The atmosphere was lively without being too loud, perfect for hanging out with friends. The food was delicious (especially the wings and cocktails!) and everything came out fresh and hot. Staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely one of my favorite spots to unwind after work. Highly recommend!
