This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a neat design that has a relaxed vibe! The wooden layout is smooth, counter is well presented and decorations give a proper atmosphere. Seating is comfortable and I had a refreshing pint of mango cider, the outside is nice too!
Stopped by for a quick snack. The toasties were very good, the bread being a piece of toast instead of hard panini bread. The owner is very friendly and their dog was a great greeter right at the door! Need to visit again for a drink as the vibe of the place seems pretty good!
Visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon located in the nice Castle Quarter area we sat outside, friendly welcome from bar staff, we enjoyed a beer and a wine, husband said good selection of craft beer. luvly area inside, we enjoyed our visit. :) :)..
Popped in for a quick coffee before catching a train. The young man on duty was very friendly with great service. The bar is aimed at the uni students so food isn't a large part of the offerings but they do toasted sandwiches though we didn't have these others did and they looked ok and are very fairly priced at c.£5. Fillings included cheese and tomato; vegan cheese and the usual meat fare. Pros: I can imagine great in the evenings for drinks and getting together with beer offers. A large area downstairs with pool, table football and table tennis. Cons: coffee from a "press button" machine so not as nice as other places.
Service always good. Reasonable prices and great selection of local independent brewery beers and ciders. A great place to chill out and throw a few back with friends, or drop in while you're walking the dog ????.
