A good boozer with good service

Had a great evening watching a band. The staff were friendly and our dog was made welcome as you can see.

Often looked on as an "interesting" pub with people about town due to past life and past clientele. As many pubs in the area can be seen. And people don't go and try out their local pub or the pub opinion can be based on past times. But in recent years there have been a great couple of managers and bar staff. It is clean, friendly, got a great pool table and a dart board in the games section of the bar. Good food. The beer selection is good and a good price for current times. Well done all involved. Great outdoor area as well sun on the area till late in the evening.

Very local and friendly, nice pub friendly staff. Big screen for football. Nice little local pub, quite early evening, recommend for a nice quiet pint.
