When your 7 year old says the cabbage soup is the best soup he's ever tasted in his whole life, the menu reflects wild Wyoming fare, the service is welcoming, friendly, and prompt, and everything you order on the menu is fresh, piping hot, and unforgettably delicious, it deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you ladies for a memorable evening. We will definitely be stopping again when we come through. I'm already dreaming about the fry bread, honey butter, and billionaire bacon! If you think you missed it, it's inside the same building as the Shell Station. Do not let this deter you, it's a local gem.

You wouldn't know it was there if you didn't look for it. It's in the same building as a Shell station. Once you open the door, it's one surprise after another. Great decor, great presentation, and the food was impressive. Great lunch, and I can't wait to try dinner.

My first visit since she moved to the Shell gas station by the Pizza Hut. The food never disappoints! This time I was served some very tasty fry bread with a whipped honey butter and a bowl of chicken soup. This came free before my meal. It was very good. The special Sopal was running was 6 crab Rangoon with a sweet Thai like sauce for $3. When I tore one open I started to be disappointed because I didn’t see any red, looked like all cream cheese. Boy was I wrong! They were filled with real real crabmeat! I couldn’t believe it. The ratio of crab to cream cheese was amazing. They were fried to perfection and not over done. The wonton wrap itself was the perfect thickness, ( I can’t stand a mouth full of fried wonton with only a little filling) For my actual lunch I ordered seafood tacos. She was kind enough to let me pick 2 different types of seafood. I had the Red Snapper and Shrimp. Both were amazing! Perfect amount of her sauce, avocado, and other toppings. I didn’t even investigate what was all in there. It was so good, it just went down the hatch. I subbed a salad as opposed to fries or any other starch. And the greens were fresh and very good. The bleu cheese dressing had chucks of bleu cheese, and there was a generous portion of bleu cheese crumbles on top the salad. Everything was very delicious! I will keep going back when I’m in Lander. My server was a nice young lady here temporarily from Colorado. She was very accommodating, kind and on time for everything I needed and wanted and did a great job.

Saw the reviews on google and assumed that it would be great! I have a gluten allergy so I called a head and asked if anything can be made gluten free. The manager said that most can be made gluten free. I got the cowboy burger (without a bun) and fries. My boyfriend got the seared ahi tuna and the antler burger with fries. Everything was overcooked, bland, and over priced. Also, the food didn’t come advertised, specifically the Ahi Tuna. On the menu it says “served with seaweed salad”, but it was arugula salad. The whole dish was swimming in sauce and the only part my boyfriend ate was the carrots. We left feeling really disappointed because we drove 5 hours from Idaho and we really wanted a good burger. We didn’t finish our food and got pizza because we were still hungry. Hour later, I had a reaction to the gluten :) This business can have potential to be good, but as of now they’re far from good

Price: Higher than I am used to. Quality: Food was delicious. Silverware did not match. Served in a chipped ceramic dish. Service: Polite and good even though short staffed. Style: Rustic and inviting. Not very spacious. * We loved the fresh fried bread with whipped butter. Homemade pickle slices were a tad salty for me, but good. I enjoyed my elk steak sandwich with salad. The juice made the bread a tad soggy though. The soup served with our meal was good, some said it was too peppery. I enjoyed the ice water with cucumber slices, but others preferred plain ice water. I don't recall seeing a beverage section on the menu, so we stuck with water. We were a bit disappointed that the bison meat was drastically limited or unavailable, but the elk meat was delicious. We suggest making sure to update the online menu regularly (monthly or with any changes). And be sure to pull any damaged glassware from service. I was concerned that my 2 yr old may cut himself on the damaged ceramic bowl.
