Mcmanus Park

It is very generous of Lander to offer overnight camping at their city park. It's a very busy place. We experienced some late arrival campers. Some running power tools opening their equipment which we thought was rude. One guy even showed up with a huge 5th wheel and came close to taking out the rest room. All this was after dark. Once all the rude campers were done it was a peaceful stay. There is a local dump by public works and plenty of restaurants near by.

Awesome you can camp here in rv or tent for 3 days free. The brook is so pretty. Everyone is very nice and respectful. The police patrol it regularly so I felt very safe.

Beautiful serene atmosphere and very clean grounds. Being right by a bubbling stream Just perfect for the long days drive and peaceful night parking.

Nice quiet place to camp for travelers and van lifers, etc. Cops roll by a few times a night to check on things but don’t bother anyone! Summertime and the living is easy!
