Taqueria Jalisco #4

Went for lunch, this is one of our regular Tex Mex places. Today I ordered one of their specials the "Birria Plate". I had asked the server what it was, she tried to explain it to me, but I didn't really understand, I was about to order something else when she brought me a small sample of it, I immediately changed my mind and ordered it. It was similar to Carne Guisada but instead of the gravy the guisada comes with this was cooked in a very flavorful slightly spicy sauce / pan juice. The meat was super tender and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm going to have to check the regular menu to see if it's on there. I will definitely order it again if its available. This was a wonderful new taste treat for me. As always the chips and salsa were plentiful, the tortillas were warm and fresh, the place was clean and the servers were attentive.

Menudo small cut meat, good flavor. The French toast plate was delicious. Unsweet tea and a coffee with side ice water went well. Friendly service. This first time visit was great.

I had a great experience at this Taqueria Jalisco that offers a fantastic Tex-Mex fusion menu. The standout feature here is their generous portions – you definitely won't leave hungry! The combination of traditional Mexican flavors with Tex-Mex elements is a unique twist that sets this place apart. Four stars for their delicious Tex-Mex fusion dishes and satisfying portion sizes.

Ordered a breakfast pork chop plate, eggs were so under cooked that they were clear. I asked them to cook them more and they came back basically the same. Pork chop was pink and smelled past dated. I was disappointed for coming into town to look for great food

Authentic fare. Was wanting more Tex-Mex but it was good! Chips were too thick, but the handmade flour tortillas were to die for! Rice was very flavorful! Great service!
