CUSTOMER REVIEWS
After reading some of the reviews was not sure if I wanted to go in but figured, to give the place a chance. Wanna start by the greeter was a sweet older gentleman. Our server Lauren was awesome and the food was above some places I paid three times the money. I could not ask for anything better. We were a family of 4 and we were all stuffed for under $62. Don't skip, definitely stop in and eat.
Retro style dinner with great food. I loved the decor and all the bright lights. The particular day we went it was very hot and stuffy inside so I was sweating. It finally cooled off toward the end of our visit. I ordered the Spanish omelet and a cinnamon roll. The omelet was awesome and full of flavor. But. The. Cinnamon roll. It was like heaven in my mouth hole. I could have gotten only that and coffee, and I would have been so happy! My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (added bacon) with onion rings and said it was the best one he'd ever eaten. Plus it was giant! He also got a small cup of vegetable soup that was fantastic and tasted like home made. Everything was just great and I will definitely be returning to try more items.
An old establishment with a lot of history. The seating has not been updated but the food is good. We split two different plates to be able to get what we wanted to eat. An omelette, which I recommend and pancakes as well.
A very friendly and relaxing atmosphere the moment I walked in. The chatter and not so bright lights were very calming. I came with my family and we were seated immediately. The server then took our drinks and later came back for the rest of the order. It was a 10 minute wait until we got our food. We went in for breakfast and ordered the price's breakfast with hash browns + biscuit, the all meat omelette with hash browns + biscuit, the Texas waffle and the eggs Benedict with sourdough toast. The hash browns were not seasoned but this worked very well as they balanced themselves with the other dishes. The all meat omelette was full of beacon, sausage and ham. It was not too much and tasted great. The eggs Benedict was by far the best, the creamy hollandaise sauce went really well with the eggs and bacon. The Texas waffle was really cute and tasted like buttery perfection (might have needed a bit more sugar.) The price's breakfast was well balanced, tasty and filling. The waiter was so nice and took our order very patiently. She also kept topping off our coffee immediately. Prices chef is a well established diner with a beautiful history and tasty food. If I'm ever in town again, I'm going to Prices first.
Ok.. first time eating here and what a treat!! It's a diner that's been here for years so there is some wear and tear around the place.... BUT THAT'S what makes it look and feel so wonderful. Came for lunch and there was a good steady crowd coming and going. The staff was user-friendly and accommodating, and the food was just outstanding. I had the chicken and waffles, and my server suggested and asked if I wanted a little bit of Honey to go with that along with the syrup, she said that she really likes it with honey, I said yes and she brought out a little ramekin of honey, and it was really fabulous. I appreciated her recommendation. And she brought out two pieces of bread pudding for us on the house, just because. Now that I know about this establishment, I'm going to be back quite a bit
