Taps & Tackle - where delicious food , cold drinks, and great

Good food that was cooked wonderfully. The shrimp po-boy was delicious and the shrimp was cooked just right. We also had the black bean burger and mild chicken wings. All were good and the fries were great. For appetizers we had the onion rings and smoked fish dip. Very tasty and cooked perfectly. We would definitely go back for the food. Just a note, this is an adult hangout, this is not a family restaurant. Also, with only one person working the floor and bar, with customers coming in, service was just a little bit slow. As it was the bartender/server did a good job.

Great location, friendly staff and really tasty food. Right downtown and close to the water. We were pleasantly surprised to find this friendly place and the food didn't disappoint. I had the Tuna tacos which were fabulous and my wife had the shrimp cocktail which was smoky and very good. We will be back.

I am SO grateful for this place this weekend. The chef, Josh, made us some truly delicious food and was so accommodating to my allergies even though he was crazy busy. Josh went above and beyond, thank you for such great service and killer food. The bartenders were so friendly, the restraunt was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our time there. Really pricey for sub-par food. Not a place for families or good seafood. At the very least, a $17 dish could be served on something besides a styrofoam plate. I’m thinking these good reviews came from people who just needed something to soak up the booze. Maybe I just went on a bad day, but it was very bad.

Went to enjoy the live music. Had a couple of beers and whisky . Great fun . I didn't eat there so no comment on food
