Beautiful views almost the whole time you are on the trail. The trail itself is gravel, but easy to walk on. My elderly mother could walk the trail at her pace while I climbed on all the rocks. It could be a good place for some kids but be aware that there is much drop off without any railing. We found parking easily enough on a weekday in October, but the lot looks small enough that I would be worried about it on the weekends. Lots of air traffic overhead too, which is both interesting and occasionally a little noisy.
Loved the Calm, low patron, environment. I sat down on a rock ???? and journaled in my phone until a bird ???? kept being annoying. I chased it away, by that time I just enjoyed the sunny ???? view. Nature walks are essential to mental health
What a nice place to enjoy the nature and gorgeous city views. Best spot for sunrise and excellent for walks during sunset too. Grab a bug spray for the evening time. There is a wide gravel/dirt road that is pretty straightforward so it’s really easy to walk/hike for anyone. Even strollers or horses would be fine. Highly recommend.
Lovely views we came for the view of Spokane, sunset, and the beach and watch the huge dull moon rise
Lovely views! Dog friendly to boot. Limited parking. Terrible approach road - be prepared for potholes you may have never encountered before. You can choose to be on the outer paved road or take the inner hiking trail - both are good choices. The hiking trail is less traveled, still snow and ice covered in places - but beautiful forest nonetheless.
