Spent time soaking up the sun at Boulder Beach on Monday. We found a great spot on a warm boulder and watched the planes come and go. The beach has some sand and plenty of shade. A lot of duck poo but other than that it’s a great spot. Just one of the many peaceful spots I love around Spokane.
Very crowded on warm days and lots of duck poop. It does have beautiful scenery. Sometimes the trash can be much, broken glass, etc. We prefer less popular spots along the river. Don't be afraid to walk or drive 5 minutes in different directions.
Pretty little city beach on the river. Swim on one side, then cross the street for hiking or dirtbikes. Gets over crowded in the summer though. Hard to find parking during the on season. Good area to ride a bike to on the centennial trail.
I always love to stop here for some sundown pics when I can. This is as late as I could stay on this visit. The area is clean and beautiful. It could use a bathroom structure or port a potty. I snorkeled the river in that area last year and then that thought really crossed my mind!
Great place to hang out. Rope swing for the adventurest. Cement trail through area. Shallow water at the beach for kids. No supervision provided. It's June and the water is still super cold. Just saying.
