My favorite Mexican restaurant of all time! The food is amazing, fresh and delicious. It’s not the heavy, cheesy food you get in so many Mexican restaurants in the US. Just a heads up for people who expect free chips and salsa. - They are a paid appetizer you order here. Absolutely worth it though!

Perhaps the best vegetarian burrito I've ever had in my life. Delicious hand cut, homemade chips and salsa and perfect guacamole! Please offer home made habanero hot sauce. The red is hot but it's just not very good on flavor. Please also add sauteed minced mushrooms into the burrito! They have a meat like texture and add tons of yummy flavors to a veggie burrito! Margarita was a letdown, lacking the proper amount of tequila and being served in a regular glass.... Again...great chips and salsa (add a little less cilantro!) Many people consider cilantro too strong in most salsas. Some staff (servers) were not as friendly.????. But my server was polite and helpful. Please change your hours so we can come and eat there. Your hours are very restrictive!!

My wife wanted to go try this place supposed to be authentic Mexican food, her friend at work kept telling her to go try it , so finally went last night and I do not know if it is just me growing up with the real Mexican flavor of authentic Mexican food but . It is a sad that they consider this place a a Mexican food. I ordered the green chicken enchilada and my wife the nachos. Princess are a little over the top. And food is just bad no flavor what so ever. I took a couple of bites and so did my wife and that was it. We couldn't finish it. Also their salsa and chips is a scam. Almost 50 dollar for everything. Not worth it in my opinion.

Came in tonight on Valentine's day. I didn't realize they were closing soon. I had the best service with great food. I highly recommend the shimpadilla. I appreciate them for giving us great service so close to the end of a busy day. I will definitely be comeback soon.

Let me say right up front, this ain't yo mama's good ol beanery. It's different from almost any Mexican restaurant I've ever been too. I should also warn you that the chips and salsa do not flow freely by the pound like they at some other Mexican joints. They charge for them at Provecho's. That being said, they are really great chips and the Salsa is obviously home made. I get it, they are shooting for something different than the average South of the Border place that captures its clientele by offering a free for all, stuff your face festival of beans, chips, and rice. Provecho wants a clientele that puts a little more thought into where they rest their keisters for their Gastro adventures. It's a fun, colorful, intimate setting and the service we have had there has always been stellar. For the longest time, my biggest struggle was that I thought the name Provicho was Italian. Of course I don't speak either language and I'm something of an idiot, but I'm so used to Casa this or Pedro that, that the name threw me for a loop... Basically what I needed was a slight brain reset. Not a common Mexican restaurant name. Not a common Mexican menu with huge puddles of soupy beans and mounds of boring rice. Not a Beer drinking, sports watching kind a place where you hang out with the frat boys, but an honest to god restaurant where they are trying to communicate something through the food. At the end of the meal, if by chance you have any salsa left over, take it home with you.
