Pikeville Dawg House

????? Pikeville Dawg House is a great local spot! The food is always good, reasonably priced, and comes out surprisingly fast every time. It's one of my favorite places to stop for a late lunch when I need something quick and satisfying. They also have great ice cream, which makes it an even better place to visit on a warm day. Friendly service, good food, and fair prices—hard to ask for much more than that. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Got the BBQ Plate with potato salad and coleslaw. Very good enough for two meals.

My bestie and I tried this place after I was searching for a place serving brightleaf hotdogs with chili. I moved away from NC over 30 years ago so when I visit, I want brightleaf! The hotdogs are boiled and steamed JUST LIKE I LOVE THEM! The chili sauce is perfect! I also ordered a hamburger and my bestie ordered a bacon double; both burgers were juicy, tasty, and made to perfection!!!! They don't serve fries but they do have chips, ice cream, specialty coffee, homemade milkshakes, hoop cheese sticks, different breads, a variety of drinks (tasty lemonade) amongst other things. The seating is outdoors; a bench style picnic area. I enjoyed it. It was a little windy with lower temperatures that day so a heated lamp would have been awesome but it wasn't too bad and the food definitely made up for it. The customer service is pretty awesome as well. I will be returning! It was a first visit for both my bestie and I; we both look forward to returning! ****The prices are unbelievably reasonable!!!**** Great food, great prices, and great service---YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT! We were there on Saturday and it was our 2nd time in the last month or so. The food does not disappoint and the prices are incredible. If you're looking for top notch dogs and tasty burgers , this is your place!! We'll be back for sure!

Do not go through the drive thru. It will take you on average 7 minutes per car. If there’s 4 cars in the line you’re going to be waiting at least a half hour. They need to adopt a new system, possibly where someone is walking the drive thru line taking multiple orders so they don’t have to wait to start each order individually. Very poor management call. Food is good, people are nice, just not a great system.
