Convenient location, yummy food, pretty scenery good prices, kind staff -- what more could you ask for inside of a state park? We specifically enjoyed the draft beers and personal pizzas ????The food was delightful after a strenuous hike!

Always enjoyed the deep-fried pickles and the hamburger. I have never been disappointed they’re always the food is great. People are really nice. They have an outdoor venue beautiful location.

We’ve lived in the cookeville area for 3 years now. We’ve been to basically all the parks, falls and outdoor sites to see…my one question is…HOW HAVE WE NOT BEEN HERE BEFORE NOW?!?????. This place is amazing. It’s so big, there are SO many different amenities, places to go, trails to hike, waterfalls to see, a lake, a pool…the list is so long. Not to mention if you come a few days after a heavy rain, the falls are INTENSE. When you get down to the bottom pool, the wind and power blasting you from the falling water is crazy refreshing. The hike to the bottom of the falls is short in distance, but takes a while because of the difficulty. There is no real path, your climbing on and over rocks the whole way up and down. But the trip there is scattered with a stream, massive rock outcroppings, overhangs, just pure beauty. The cafe at the park is kinda pricey for cafeteria food, but it’s a nice place to rest and refuel. They also have ice cream. We were only here for a few hours, and barely scratched the surface. This is our new go to local park. We will be sure to camp here and uncover everything it has to offer!

This is a very well designed, clean, and well maintained State Park. The swimming pool, amphitheater, and a zip line, are right there by the snack bar. Perfect location . The food is quick and it's price right. It is not outrageous, like you would think.

Great service and ice cream. I wass not expecting cold beer (not your domestic known brands) but the ale wasn't too bad. Prices are fair, or so i thought. If i was to gripe about one thing it's the quality of the pizza for the price. It's just OK to me. However, the fact that you get a downsized bar and grill in a remote location with so much around you to do it really is something to appreciate.
