New Skylark Nails On Linden

I’ve been holding back from typing this (I don’t ever leave reviews anywhere) but this place honestly is a place you should go to if your nail person isn’t available. They don’t know how to properly do nails and I’ve never had an experience where it was t painful them filing my nails. Their pedicures are alright but honestly they charge more than deserving of. Go if it’s your last resort is all I’m saying.

I didn’t want to write this, but I need people to know so they won’t get scammed off of their money. I went to get a pedicure and when I tell you after I got them done, there were bruises on my foot from the sensation of the brush they used on my foot.The man that was doing my pedicure was rough and he didn’t have patience for what he was doing. Plus, he didn’t even know what he was doing because another nail lady had to correct his mistakes that he did on my feet. Then they had the audacity to ask for tip, like you didn’t even do your job correctly and you’re asking for extra money you must be crazy.

This place is a scam. This evening i went to get a pedicure. When i was done, they asked me if i want to do a manicure, I was like okay. When the lady finish cleaning my nails. I told her i need tip on nails. Mind you she was gonna do it without the tip. Then i asked her for the price she said $40. I was like I’m not doing it anymore. She was already putting a white thing on my nails. I told her nicely take it off because I change my mind. She did take it off. I gave her my card. I ask her how much are you going to charge me she said $37. Before that she told me $35. I was like where where did the $2 came from ? She said because i cleaned your cuticles i take the $2. I was like ok. I was seating she called me to come signed the receipt. And I did. Then i put $37. Because that’s what she told me. She then tell me it’s $49. I said hold on NOW where is the $12 CAME FROM. She then said we charged you for the manicure which i didn’t get. We argued. She didn’t want to give a receipt. Cuz she knows what she was doing. They’re scammers. They will force you to give tip. I suggest if you’re going to this place bring cash cuz they will scam you.

Always come here when I don't want to go to my other nail spot and they never disappoint. This time they were willing to accommodate me 15 minutes before they closed and didn't even rush the job. Love this place even more than my first spot. Very professional and good at what they do. I have a new nail place now!

The place is outdated. Regret coming here. Their nail supplies are dingy and nasty. The towel is not white, they are ripped in half and looks so dingy that it’s grey. They don’t put the heat on, snd the door is wide open. so it’s very cold. They charge $8 just to use the metal scraper for the bottom of your feet. They don’t use liners for the pedicure sinks. They are only good for eyebrows tbh. Not as good as they used to be at all!
