Very friendly and efficient staff who checked in on us often during our lunch. Our group of 3 ordered 2 burritos and 6 tacos - it was the fastest we’ve ever had food turned around! Salsa bar was convenient and there was good variety. Overall, this was better value than Azul with no wait. We would come back again the next time we’re in Tahoe!

The carnitas meat in my tacos was amazing. So tender and moist, great salsa and salsa bar. The wife had huevos rancheros she loved it and our beans and rice were great too. Noticed everyone coming in was greeted through the kitchen window by the chef/owner. And he came out and was talking to us and another couple next table over. And offered us free Mexican desserts from bakery next door. So friendly like everyone was family. Food was so fresh and tasty, so authentic. Oh also very reasonable prices too.

I haven’t tried other Mexican restaurants in the Lake Tahoe area but I can tell you I have eaten plenty of Mexican food in Mexico and around the world and I have to say this place is as close as you will ever get to the real deal! Authentic, delicious food! Carnitas, fish tacos, chicken, and delicious chips with salsa!

Good service, food with large portion and reasonable price. The salsa bar definitely worth trying.

Amazing food! I came here with my Dutch family who are difficult to please. We ordered fish tacos, the super burrito with lengua, and the taco bowl with asada. everything was perfectly fresh and extremely well-seasoned. The salsa was AMAZING. They also have great vegetarian options, you can order roasted peppers instead of meat. The ambiance of the restaurant is very welcoming and “gezellig“ (as we say in Dutch, “cosy“ or “atmospheric”). We also shared a margarita, which was nice and strong. Perfect for a cold day. The service was also really great. They were very attentive and patient with my indecisive family. I highly recommend this place! Plus the waiter was really cute (I hope he doesn’t read this)
