Hungry Clam

Fresh Hailbut was delish and house tarter sauce is fire ???? with it, add malt vinegar to everything ???? ???????? their house cocktail is the bomb. Flavor is so good. Pricey to eat out, but so is grocery shopping!

Always a wonderful time at the Hungry Clam. It was so good, we went both days we were in town!! BEST. CHOWDER. EVER!! The clam strips are amazing as well. ????

Being honest. Food wasn't nasty so I gave it 3 stars. It wasn't great though. Got 3 slices of thin Halibut, was thin like Cali butts (I'm from Cali) and so was bater. Not a fan of crinkle cut fries. Feels like it went straight from frozen bag to frier. Don't bother with clam chowder. Might as well crack open a can of Progresso. The best thing was their cocktail sauce. Tarter sauce needed relish, mostly just mayo. Sorry but was a bit dissatisfied. Go up to Bannon Fish Market. You'll get 4 thick cuts of Pacific halibut with a better crust. Even their fries have a crispy batter.

Our food was delicious, I’ll start there. It’s counter order and our server wasn’t having a great relational day, so I felt a little rushed to place my order. I had the sense that we were more of an annoyance than a service opportunity. They don’t serve alcohol, which was a bummer to not have a beer with your fish and chips— but Pepsi products it was. I would absolutely ???? return for the food and simply deal with the rest.

I'm visiting my grandparents in Oregon and they mentioned that they used to come here all the time so we thought it would be a good idea to get lunch here and I am so glad we did because this place is the best. We ordered fish and chips and the clam chowder and I could not be more happy with how amazing it was. The woman working at the counter was super cool and the chef was awesome. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area.
