It's not good. Every few years, we try again, but still no. The Lobster Ravioli was on special. It had the hard yellow color and texture that could come from sitting too long in water or being frozen and reheated. The sauce was terrible. All in all, inedible. The husband’s steak reminded him of the one his grandmother used to make. Unfortunately, grandma made her steaks in the oven. A lousy piece of meat cooked in the oven does not become better. On the positive side, the bread was delicious, and the service was friendly - hence two stars.
Overpriced with small serving sizes. Ordered a bottle of sparkling wine as listed on the menu and received a half size bottle. You can get the same quality of food and spend the same amount of money, or much less, at Olive Garden.
This was our first time going to eat here. It was a little darker than I like, our waiter was okay and the food was very hot. The food was delicious but we had to take it home to eat because it was delivered to us extremely hot. I loved the bread and garlic butter. We ordered the fried ravioli for an appetizer and also the mushrooms. I loved the ravioli and my husband loved the mushrooms. The red sauce that came with the ravioli was so savory. We were really enjoying the start of our meal and then our waiter delivered our entrees at kelvin 273! It was so hot it was boiling. My husband got the eggplant parmesian and commented that the dish was very bland, especially the noodles. I ordered the chicken and artichoke lasagna. It was full of flavor and I really enjoyed it when I got home. We also ordered the tirimusu and it was like a pudding and we liked it.
Always delicious and generous portions. The service is wonderful and the ambiance is warm and inviting. We love this place for a favorite date night.
I have always loved Fratesi's - it's been our go to for years. Tonight was disappointing, especially when my complaint to a manager was "ok".....not "I'm sorry". No apology for a less than mediocre meal with what appeared to be frozen and reheated ingredients. One of the things I've always loved about this place was the fresh rich ingredients. My other favorite thing was the lady who cared about your experience. I'm sad because something has definitely changed since our last visit in March.
