Fairview Beachfront Inn & Waterpark

Room very basic. Bed was uncomfortable. Sliding screen door was off the track and propped up on the balcony. I had to put it back in place so I could hear the waves without the bugs getting in. Lobby was closed down and had to drive to hotel next door to check in. I guess they manage both. Person at the desk was very nice. There was no elevator and it’s 4 floors. Still uses actual keys and not key cards. TV seemed small.

The room was nice and mostly clean and the location was great for the price, but there were still some issues. Firstly, the lobby is closed indefinitely and you have to go next door to check-in which defeats the purpose of it being a separate entity. Secondly the sign has a completely different name than what it says online which made it almost impossible to find. The room key was a standard door key and not a card, which old-fashioned but I actually kind of preferred as it can’t have it’s data erased by a phone

Nice view to the beach. ! Rooms are okay. Pretty close to the Ferry ! Parking is free and no breakfast. Has Indoor kids water park and swimming pool for adults. Swimming pool depth is 3 to 9ft.

My worst experience staying at a hotel in the country. Over priced rooms and nothing works. Ice machine broken, vending machine not working. Pool and waterpark closed for renovations and repairs. Carpet was sticky and wet. Flies the room. Weird smell. Avoid this place.

This was downstrip from main areas, and I had low expectations to start with. Which is sad beacuase this city is a fun place. This hotel was worse than I expected. Bathroom door wouldn't even close and room was dirty. They know this. I would never stay here again
