Elegant Nails

Entire staff is AMAZING! Had a bridal group of four come in with both pedicures and full sets and we weren’t rushed out. Our nails came out beautifully thanks to Yen!

I really wanted to like this place. But I should have left after my first impression. Messed up ceiling tiles, through the open door in the back room I could see a mattress on the floor, it just felt run down. But I stuck it out anyway. My husband and I went in for a mani/Pedi date. They sent us back to the chairs, and started running water for me. Not for him. So I thought, ok, maybe they're doing one at a time? No. He never did get his. I asked for French gel polish on fingers and toes. They put regular polish on my toes, toenails cut way too short, and they completely jacked the polish up, it was smeared, they had to redo one toe several times and it still looks bad. They look awful. The pics were taken about 2 hours after I left. I didn't notice until I got home exactly how bad they were. My nails were a bit sloppy as well, but nothing like the toenails. They redid one nail three times, and it is still smeared. Much better mani/Pedis are available for the same price elsewhere. The people did seem very nice though. They didn't talk much, but they were nice when they did talk.

I went and had my nails done at this salon. I requested a powder manicure with ombre (red and black). The final product looks very pretty and the techinican did a great job at getting the ombre effect correct. However, my rating is low because I left with 6 bloody nail beds from being knicked with the drimmel nail file. I woke up the day after my manicure with all my nail beds extremely sore from where she clipped them too aggressively, and something as simple as washing my hands burns the open wombs left behind from the techinician. She took a phone call in the middle of doing my nails and proceeded to do my nails while on the phone (leading to five bloody fingers on my left hand) and once she got off the phone, it happened less, but still happened leaving me with a bloody right thumb. My nail beds are red, swollen, and painful to the touch. They do a good job if you can handle the bleeding and pain in the days following your manicure, but I am going to try a different salon when I need to get this removed. She was apologetic and treated the bleeding with antiseptic, but that doesn't help the fact that my fingers are borderline useless for the days after getting my nails done. Note: I have NEVER had a technician make me bleed, and I have had my fair share of manicures (simple polish, shellac, powder dip). This was not an issue of my hands being dry or me moving during my manicure.

I just went to Elegant Nails for my prom nails, and I couldn’t be any happier. My nails have never looked so beautiful. It was definitely worth it! They are great quality nails.

Had my worst nail experience here hands down!! The lady did not do my nails right, she had a picture for reference and didn’t use it. Then tried to blame me for not looking right. Be careful once going here.
