El Primo # 1 Mexican Restaurant

The menu here is huge! We had a hard time choosing what to get, so we tried a few things. While most things had good spices and sauces, we felt there was just too much meat. I got combo #37 with a taco, tamale, enchilada (or burrito), and chile relleno; I didn't get a meat choice, so everything came with ground beef. I swear there was more than a pound of ground beef on my plate! Lots of meat is great for people who prefer more, but i was hoping to have vegetables too. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food we received. Our appetizer was the best part - definitely try!

This is a must visit Restaurante! You won’t be disappointed! Absolutely amazing food, very fresh tasting and the plating presentation was picture worthy! And besides it being one of the best tasting Chori Pollo plates I’ve ever had, The portion was very generous for the low price! Immaculately clean restaurant and the staff were very friendly, inviting and attentive! My daughter and I pulled into the parking lot at 10 minutes till 10 PM, and the open sign was still on, but I hate going into establishments at the last minute. As we pulled up, one of the waitresses waved to us from inside the restaurant, and Inviting us to come in and eat. They had already mopped one side of the restaurant and put the chairs up on the table, but still invited us to come and sit down and enjoy our dinner. They did not rush us, and they showed such hospitality the entire visit. Out of courtesy we ordered quickly and were prepared to eat quickly, but the waitress assured us that it was OK and we were welcome to take our time. The food came out several minutes later, very hot and very fresh, and looked amazing, and it did not disappoint! At no point did we feel rushed or that we were even inconveniencing them, as they were so attentive to us. Being the only patrons in the restaurant, we did feel bad and ate quickly, but it was still very satisfying and an amazing A+ + experience. Thank you to the staff and the cooks for a great evening. We will be back, and we will tell everyone we know to try your restaurant!

I wish I could give them 5 stars but their phone never works! You call to place a takeout order, and you’re stuck trying to get the call to go through both their numbers, receiving either a busy tone (it’s 2024, get call waiting) or “the voicemail is full” message. Could be making a lot more money/business if they’d fix this issue once and for all.

Really great food with plenty of selection. Room for larger groups or family meals. Bring the folks and the kiddies. Call ahead for faster take out. Seating and parking are limited but worth the quality in taste and food portions. Nice drink selections too. Just double check your to go order for complete items. This is not fast food and a repeat trip to grab a forgotten item will take time to prepare. It's a great family experience.

I was doing my 34hrs reset at local truck stop and I found this place and decided to check out The food was amazing authentic Mexican food the guacamole was fresh and super delicious. Now service was terrible I was chasing the serve to get a second bear. When they were sitting down talking to each other. They got to catch up in service. I really recommend the food was delicious.
