El Palacio Mexican Restaurant

Here's an example of one person loves their food but another, not so much. My BF wanted to go here today. She enjoyed her food but sadly I will probably not return. Our waitress was very experienced & super sweet! However, to me the food just tastes bland and dry. The cheese dip is the same as what I buy at Walmart. I prefer Taqueria Los Dos (food truck) It's way better!! I might add I almost broke my neck slipping on the greasy bathroom floor. GROSS! Now I remember why it had been so many years since I had been here.

This is my all time favorite place to get a Chile relleno. Every time I come into town I have to stop here. ?? Cheese dip is really good. The appearance could use a face lift as it has been EXACTLY the same for over 20 years and kinda not in a great way. Service was not great the past few times I came in which was disappointing ???? never got refill, never got checked on once, and people at my table needed things as there order was not correct. Waitress was rude and as if she was annoyed to be there and wait on us. I will be back because I love the food.

Been going here since the late 70's early 80's. It's a favorite for sure. I believe it has new owners? I don't live in Duncan anymore. Just visit once every 2 to 3 years.

One of the Best....if not the best Hidden Gem in town. Had the Fajitas and they were spot on. Substitute the green peppers with fresh Jalapeños and it's to die for!!

Terrible food and terrible customer service. Called in a to go order at 7:50pm, get there to pick it up at 8:20pm and the doors are locked!! We stood outside and knocked on the door and no one came and they are supposed to be open until 9:00pm!! So we called and NO ONE answered! So we banged on the door again, finally a man opened the door and we asked if they were closed already or something and he replied with well yes because we don't have any customers in here??? He said did u have a to go order? We said yes and online it says your open until 9 and repeated the fact that there were no customers so they closed early?! He let's us in to get our order we leave get all the way home and one of our burgers is completely raw and uncooked!! So we AGAIN called back at 8:52pm a rude lady answered and said El Palacio sorry we are closed! Mind you it's still not even 9pm! We told them our food was not even cooked and she told us she could cook us another one tomorrow!? Are you kidding me? Absolutely not! We wanted a refund she said well we can give u a refund for the burger only lol!! The customer service is a joke and awful! If you don't want to do your job or work I a restaurant or serve people then by all means get another job! This is so disappointing because we used to love this place. I will never be back.
