El Norte Mexican Restaurant

Beautiful December weather to sit out on the patio here! Excellent service and the steak and sides were very good! Great place!!

i loved my waitress she was sooo sweet and kind and very good at her job very swift and a very good and attentive waitress overall. ten out of ten i would return there not only for the food but in hopes to get that waitress again! the prices are also really good for the amount of food that you can get.

El Norte has a richly detailed interior with some great ambiance. The Mexican music is not too obtrusive and lends a pleasant background. The servers are efficient if terse, but they get the food and drinks out quickly. The best measure of a Mexican restaurant to me is the tamales. Here at El Norte they are quite good. The masa is a little bready, but the pork filling is dense and spicy. It's got a nice little accent to it. The beef enchilada is nondescript, but filling. The arroz was plentiful and aromatic. The taquitos were extremely crunchy, including the chicken filling, which was overdone and chewy. They have several Mexican beers, Coke products, and tea perfectly sweetened. Chips come out before your meal complimentary with decent salsa, and the queso is thin and tasty. We enjoyed a filling meal here.

Foods was delicious and freshly served; plating could be better. The service was fast but a bit too fast. I didn't have time to finish my appetizer before my food came. The atmosphere is generic...nothing fancy you can eat outside .

The food was really good! Service was A+. We ordered the fried shrimp salad and shrimp fajitas.
