El Azteca Mexican Restaurant

Stopped here on my trip home from Oklahoma. The food was excellent. Fresh and hot (heat), which is my favorite way of being served. The chips were crispy, and the salsa had good flavor. I'd love to go back on another of my trips.

Any time I’m traveling past Mt. Vernon, I always stop and grab a bite to eat here. The service is so fast that it challenges fast food restaurants. My wife and I stopped here today and were in and out within 15 minutes. The food is always fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa are my favorite around. The servers are always super friendly and I have no complaints about the atmosphere. Plus, it’s very reasonably priced!

The food and service is great on most days. But tonight we were seated, ordered are drinks. Then for some reason we set there for 30 minutes and nobody came to take our order. We watched 4 other customers come in set down and get thier food. We walked out the door. As soon as we walked out the door the wait staff ran to the table to clean it. We dine here often and but probably won't be back after tonight's service.

This is a wonderful place to eat. Food is very good and service is the best ever.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The food was grotesque. The Taco de asadas meat was filled with grissell and smelled rotten. When i bit into it I had to spit out half of my bite .I thought, ok, I’ll just eat the chips and salsa. They then informed me, after I had poured an entire bowl of salsa on my food that they would not be bringing anymore salsa to me because I didn’t meet the minimum 5.99 requirement for complimentary chips and salsa. Save your money. Do not eat here.
