Crabtree Swamp walking trail has some clear age to it and needs a little work done for it but overall it’s a short yet decent trail to walk. It’s about a mile one way from start to finish so if you’re looking for a longer trail this isn’t for you. Otherwise enjoy it the stroll. For future reference, the pathway under the train bridge has been flooded and washed away for a long time. You have to go up and over the train tracks to bypass the flooded path. It’s not dangerous as long as you look both ways for the RJ Corman train that passes through town daily. Until the City of Conway fixes the trail you do have to unfortunately trespass on railroad property.
A nice short walking trail. I enjoyed the scenery, trees, water, and wildlife. Saw plenty of birds and spiders. Easy and short trail.
Had a great time hiking in the park! Saw some really cool things!
It was nice until they started bulldozing all the woods on one side of the park. Can we have anywhere around here where they aren't clear cutting around a park?
I would recommend Crabtree Swamp walking trail if you don't have a lot of time and just want to clear your mind. The walk is short but peaceful, with lots to see. During a mild winter day it is a great place for a short walk, it would be nice if both sides of the canal were open though. The path under the train tracks is fixed and opened up. Thank you
