Catfish Charlie’s Restaurant & Lounge

Cute little place but they must have been super busy before we got there because they were out of everything. I was able to order a burger but no cheese was available. It would have been acceptable to wait for a hour for food had the food we were able to get was good. It was not. I wanted it to be better than it was. It was an experience to say the least.

I honestly didn't know what to expect when I showed up but we loved it. Such great food, fantastic service (I think her name was Destiny), drinks were great as well. It was well worth the drive and we will definitely be back for the Spring. They have a beautiful outdoor setup overlooking the water. We will be recommending Catfish Charlies to many people. Side note: the gater bates were perfect, definitely recommend the cajun catfish and the bacon wrapped shrimp!

Always pretty busy, food is good, prices are decent, service is slow but waitresses are very friendly and know the menu. Bingo night is always packed and fun! They have COKE!! It's a hit and miss on cheesecake. Love the fried pickles! Great place to eat crab legs for a decent price!

Anita was our waitress for the evening and she was absolutely wonderful ???? very polite and checked on us often to make sure our needs and wants were met even tho it just got busier and busier as we ate. The bucket of fish both regular and Cajun style were amazing ???? will be eating here again... and again.

We heard about this place from one of the amazing waitresses. It was worth the drive from Independence!! YUMMY!! I had the steak and ordered it medium. It was the first restaurant steak I have had in YEARS that was PERFECTLY cooked!! It was delicious!!! My husband had a cheeseburger and wow!! The staff was super friendly, the place was very clean and the food was amazing!! If you are looking for a great place to eat it is worth the short drive!! ????
