Casa Jalisco Mexican Restaurant

Food was good. Salsa was runny, reminded me of thin tomato sauce. Chips were too thin. I got queso and it was a little cold. My hamburger in my enchiladas had no flavor. Beans were watery, thin consistency, I'm use to them being a little thicker from like the authentic Mexican restaurants I'm use to in California. Rice was delicious. The appetizers with chips was delicious but only thing was because the chips were thin they got soggy but the toppings on it were tasty. The man taking our order was friendly and gave excellent service.

Overlanding is our gig, eating our own prepared foods 90%+ of the time. However, there are those places that present themselves enticing us to stop and enjoy someone else’s cooking. This grilled chicken enchilada style burrito covered in green sauce was absolutely delicious! It was shared with me that it’s the grandmother’s recipe they follow crafting this authentic culinary delight. If you find yourself passing through Minot, ND and are looking for tasty, homemade cuisine look no further Casa Jalisco is the place! You’ll leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. P.S. the prices are very reasonable and the service extremely quick.

I enjoyed this authentic local Mexican restaurant. They were packed at 2pm. Food came out quick and was great. Nothing fancy just good food.

I grew up eating authentic homemade Mexican food in Texas. Going out to eat at Mexican restaurants was never worth it when my grandma and mom made it 10 times better. Trust me when I say this place makes it just like home. Fresh ingredients and the most friendliest staff you can ask for! I’ve tried essentially everything on their menu and have never been disappointed! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and at a reasonable price then this is your stop!

I was so happy to discover this restaurant while traveling. It’s definitely a busy place, it has a few tables inside and picnic tables outside. There is a nice beer selection also, which was a pleasant surprise. The phone didn’t stop ringing, they handled it well. The food was delicious and I will happily return if I get the chance.
